We had Thanksgiving dinner at Lee's house this year. We all enjoyed way too much food and football, and enjoyed holding Julia-Rose.

We started off our Thanksgiving celebration with the annual "Dooley Girl Shopping Trip" on Wednesday. This year six of us went to Short Pump Mall in Richmond--me, Lindsay, Betty, Becky, Loren and Kim. It was great to all ride together in Lindsay's Durango, with plenty of room left over for all those packages!!

Here are some pictures of the Jamboree at the Floyd Country Store. I highly recommend it if you're looking for something fun to do on a Friday night.

Yesterday afternoon was the annual fall Dooley Miata ride...Lee, Betty, John, Becky, Lin and I took the Miatas on the parkway to Floyd. We stopped and ate at the Pine Tavern (good 'ole country cooking, served family-style). Then we went to the Floyd Country Store for the Friday Night Jamboree. The bluegrass was great and we were graced by the attendance of Governor Kaine and former Governor Warner (Governor Kaine even played his harmonica with the band). Julia-Rose rocks out with Fiddy-Cent!

Lin and I visited with Andrea, Shawn, Lee, Betty, Daddy, and little Julia-Rose on Sunday afternoon. She is such a pretty little thing. Andrea says she is a very good baby, rarely cries, and pretty much just eats and sleeps. Enjoy it now, Andrea!

On Saturday, we got to dogsit Tiki since Lindsay is in California on a business trip, and Randy needed to get some things done around the house. After about 7 hours of non-stop fun, Tiki decided he was tired and wanted to lay down....on Lin's head.
